Description
The charming 1817 octagonal-shaped smock mill of London, with its sloping weatherboarded sides, is one of the few surviving windmills in the city. It stopped its operations in 1864, and today it houses a museum displaying working models to showcase the past of windmills and milling. For refreshment and light meals, visitors can visit the Windmill Tearooms close by.
