Description
The heart of London
Not many squares around the world enjoy Trafalgar Square's fame and popularity. Often descried as the heart of London, this is also one of the city's most popular attractions. At its centre is Nelson's Column, guarded by four lion statues.
Other famous attractions in Trafalgar Square include the National Gallery and the St Martin-in-the-Fields Church. The statues of George IV, Henry Havelock and Sir Charles James Napier are also popular, as well as the South Africa House and the Admiralty Arch.
