The Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, designed by Christopher Wren, is a stunning example of baroque architecture. Its sprawling grounds are open to the public, and visitors can take a tour of them when they buy a ticket for the Painted Hall, described as the UK's Sistine Chapel due to its magnificent 18th-century art covering the walls from floor to ceiling.
