Shopping, street performers, and entertainment

The Royal Opera House is widely-known as "Covent Garden" since it has one entrance from the homonym district, but keep in mind that Covent Garden is not reduced to one single cultural attraction. Here you will find UK's first food Night Market, with over 35 different stalls.

Covent Garden, considered by many London's premier tourist center, is also filled with restaurants, bars, markets and boutiques. The history of Covent Garden dates back to Roman times, and the surroundings you see today were developed in the early 17th century by Francis Russell, 4th Earl of Bedford.
