The renowned Elizabeth Tower of the Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament) - more popularly referred to as Big Ben - is currently undergoing a 61-million revamping project. To facilitate the renovations, the tower has been encased in scaffolding, obstructing the iconic London landscape, and its resounding chimes will remain silenced until the refurbishment is complete, which is estimated to be in 2021.
