Description
London Dungeon and London Eye tickets together give you two very different sides of the city in one visit. The first is gloomy and theatrical, the second is high and bright.
At the Dungeon, characters and 360-degree sets bring the bad old days to life. You go into Sweeney Todd's barber shop on Fleet Street, then pick your way through Whitechapel, where Jack the Ripper might be waiting at any corner. After being sentenced you board the Newgate Prison Ride to Doom, and anyone who survives can end at the Dungeon Tavern for gossip and a drink beside the locals.
The London Eye then lifts you 135 metres above the Thames, on the tallest cantilevered observation wheel in Europe. St Paul's Cathedral, Buckingham Palace and Big Ben all come into view, and with clear skies the view reaches Windsor Castle.
