Description

London Eye tickets put you in a glass pod for a slow turn above the Thames, with Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and St Paul's laid out beneath you.

London Eye tickets give you a seat in one of 32 glass capsules that rise slowly over the river, until the whole city lies 135 metres below your feet. The wheel stands right on the Thames, and a full turn takes about 30 minutes, long enough to pick out the skyline one landmark at a time.

From the top you can look for:

  • Big Ben
  • Buckingham Palace
  • St Paul's Cathedral

The wheel went up for the millennium and has carried more than 85 million passengers since it opened in 2000. It is also the backdrop of London's biggest New Year's Eve show. Depending on the option you book, you enter through the standard or the fast-track admission. The ticket also comes with a London Eye guide, a free download for iOS and Android.

Children under 16 must travel with an adult over 18. Infants aged two and under ride free but still need a reserved ticket, and a disabled guest's carer enters free of charge.
