Description
A London afternoon tea bus tour combines two classic ways of spending an afternoon: tea and sightseeing. The setting is a Routemaster bus from the 1960s, converted so you can sit down with your food while the city goes past the window. The tour lasts 90 minutes and brings you back to your starting point.
The route is called the Round London Sightseeing tour, and the bus follows it through the centre while the staff share facts about the places you pass. Soft music plays in the background, and you can take photos of the sights from your seat.
- St Paul's Cathedral, the Monument and the Tower of London
- Tower Bridge and the London Eye
- Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and 10 Downing Street
- Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus
On the table is a full afternoon tea: savoury and sweet snacks, with tea, coffee or hot chocolate served by the staff, who top up your cup on request. Vegetarian and halal options can be arranged in advance with the provider, though gluten-free and vegan choices are not available.
