Description
For centuries, Kensal Green Cemetery has been the most fashionable final destination for the deceased in Great Britain. Established as early as 1833, this Gothic graveyard has accommodated some of the greatest minds and figures in history, such as Charles Babbage, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Wilkie Collins, Anthony Trollope, William Makepeace Thackeray, Baden Powell, and the peculiarly named Dr Albert Isaiah Coffin. Despite its elite status, and the addition of burial fees, a prized plot today in Kensal Green Cemetery can still be had for 22,000.
