It's difficult to imagine that St Pancras, with its awe-inspiring Gothic architecture dating back to 1868, was once so neglected that demolition was considered. Today, the magnificent site is home to a five-star hotel, 67 luxury apartments, and the Eurostar terminal – a testament to its former grandeur.
