The Southbank Centre, the largest performing and visual arts space in Europe, consists of three Brutalist buildings spread across seven hectares of riverside land. These buildings - Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Hayward Gallery - are always bustling with activity, from the singing lift on the 6th floor to young skateboarders practicing their tricks in the Undercroft. During the summer, the Southbank Centre's waterfront fountains and artificial beach become a favorite destination for kids and young adults.
