The land of the deer

The second largest park in London, but the largest of the Royal Parks, Richmond Park is a National Nature Reserve. It is mainly a deer park, boasting over 600 animals, living in their natural habitat.

Richmond Park attracts millions of tourists every year. It is beautiful place to visit and relax, with several sites of special interest, including the Isabella Plantation, the Holly Lodge for visitors with special needs; the stunning Pembroke Lodge, a popular restaurant with beautiful vistas across the Thames Valley; the Petersham Gate Playground for kids of all ages; and the Kingston Gate Playground for kids aged 5 and under.
