Scenic waterway

Regent's Canal links the Grand Union Canal (the Paddington arm) to the Limehouse Basin and the River Thames. During its course, it traverses Regent's Park and meets important attractions, such as the London Zoo, the Railway Lands, the Battlebridge Basin and the Limehouse Basin.

Regent's Canal is used for pleasure cruising, having a regular waterbus service (running hourly in Summer) between Maida Vale and Camden. The canal's towpath is a busy cycle route for commuters, and it is also used for bicycle tours sightseeing by some of the most popular operators.
