Description

This unique combination of a mock Victorian schoolroom and a re-created East End kitchen and museum has a charm that captures both adults and children alike. On Sundays, visitors can experience what it would have been like to attend this school, which closed in 1908. With hard wooden benches, desks, slates, chalk, inkwells, and abacuses, and a school ma’am in traditional Victorian regalia, pupils can learn to read, write, and do arithmetic.
