The Natural History Museum (the "cathedral of nature") boasts over 70 million exhibits within five main collections (Botany, Entomology, Mineralogy, Palaeontology and Zoology); and it is also a world-renowned centre of research, specialising in taxonomy, identification and conservation.
The Natural History Museum is famous for its exhibition of dinosaur skeletons and has a great research facility, in its library (extensive book, journal, manuscript, and artwork collections), with access by appointment only.
