Description

This educational museum, located in an 1802 warehouse, is a wealth of knowledge about the history of the city and its docks through a combination of artefacts and multimedia displays. To get the most out of your visit, start on the 3rd floor and work downwards through the various exhibitions. Of particular note is the London, Sugar and Slavery gallery, where visitors can gain greater insight into how London was connected to the transatlantic slave trade - a truly disturbing part of history.
