The Millennium Bridge links the south bank of the Thames - with Tate Modern in view - to the north bank at Peter's Hill below St Paul's Cathedral. The design of Sir Norman Foster and Anthony Caro, made of steel, aluminium and concrete, is stunning particularly at night, and the iconic view of St Paul's from South Bank has become one of London's symbol.
