Description

John Keats, the celebrated Romantic poet, resided in Wentworth Place, an elegant Regency house and former duplex, from 1818 to 1820. It was the place where he first encountered his betrothed, Fanny Brawne, and the locale where he composed some of his most renowned works, such as 'Ode to a Nightingale'. This museum, furnished in a simple yet moving fashion, offers a thorough account of Keats' brief, passionate life.
