A unique 20th century cruiser

HMS Belfast (C35), operated by the Imperial War Museum, is a a Royal Navy light cruiser that served during both the Second World War and Korean War. She is now harbored on the River Thames, and hosts an interesting museum.

HMS Belfast (C35) opens nine decks to the public, with exhibits focusing on life at sea (the crew's living conditions and the ship's various facilities such as the sick bay, galley, laundry, chapel, mess decks, etc); the core mechanical, electrical and communication systems; and the upper deck and forward superstructure with the ship's armament, fire control, and command facilities. HMS Belfast is also the headquarters of the City of London Sea Cadet Corps.
