Gay-friendly swimming in nature

Hampstead Ponds, also known as Highgate Ponds, are three swimming ponds in Hampstead Heath. They are fed by the headwater springs of the River Fleet. Two of these ponds are reserved for single sex bathing, and one is mixed.

The two single sex Hampstead Ponds are located on the eastern side of the park, off Millfield Lane, separated from the main mixed pond. The male only pond is popular with homosexuals in the summer. Swimming is possible year-round.
