Description
Urban centre in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham
Hammersmith (sometimes called Hammy affectionately) is one of west London's key transport hubs and commercial and employment centres - not so exciting for travelers, unless looking for entertainment and shopping.
Even so, Hammersmith is not a must see, but there are a few attractions if you are in the neighborhood: Riverside Studios; the Hammersmith Apollo concert hall and theatre; the Hammersmith Palais nightclub; and the smallest bar in the world, "The Dove" riverside pub (which was also a favorite of Ernest Hemingway).
