Description
The Tradescant Museum of Garden History, nestled in the disused St Mary-at-Lambeth church, is a tranquil haven adorned with greenery that explores the legacy of the 17th-century father-son gardeners to Charles I and Charles II. Its star attraction, a beautiful knot garden, is a meticulously maintained replica of a formal garden from the same period, with its topiary hedges meticulously cut in a twirling pattern. After a major renovation, the museum opened its doors again in May 2017.
