Description

One of the finest Art Deco buildings in England

Freemasons' Hall is the headquarters of the United Grand Lodge of England and the principal meeting place for Masonic Lodges in London. The building, considered one of the most beautiful Art Deco in England, was erected as a memorial to the Freemasons who died in the First World War.

Freemasons' Hall fully open to the public in 1985, and is now both a Masonic venue, as well as available for hire for non-Masonic events. For tourists it's interesting to know that the place where the hall stands today was the centre of English Freemasonry for 230 years. When the Grand Temple is not in use there are up to five tours per day at 11am, 12noon, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm. Check the website for more details.
