Description

Touring London with the metro

The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) was opened in 1987 to serve the redeveloped Docklands area of East London. It takes passengers across several areas of London, including Stratford, Lewisham, Tower Gateway and Bank, the financial district, Beckton, London City Airport and Woolwich Arsenal.

The Docklands Light Railway is owned by DLR Limited, part of the London Rail division of Transport for London. It provides the ideal transportation means for those who want to tour the city on their own.
