This Georgian house, which might seem as if its Huguenot silk-weaving family has just stepped out, is an extraordinary experience. It's like a living museum, with 10 rooms filled with everyday items from centuries ago: cups of tea still half-full, oyster shells shining after being emptied, and a used chamber pot next to the bed. Visitors are asked to explore in silence and discover the house's details for themselves.
