Description

For one month each summer, Clarence House – the official residence of Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall – opens its ground-floor rooms to the public for 45-minute guided tours. Visitors are able to marvel at the late Queen Mother’s small art collection, which includes a painting by renowned playwright Noël Coward, as well as masterpieces by WS Sickert and Sir James Gunn. Originally designed by John Nash in the early 19th century, Clarence House has undergone many renovations since then.
