Description
Brooklands Museum tickets let you walk the ground of Britain's pioneering racing track and aircraft works, with Concorde, a Wellington Bomber and the London Bus Museum.
With Brooklands Museum tickets you step into the place where British motorsport and flight both took off. It lies in Weybridge, Surrey, on a site that held a motor racing circuit that was the first of its kind, opened in 1907, and the century's busiest aircraft-building works.
The museum covers 32 acres and follows the people, women as well as men, who pioneered motoring and flying across more than a hundred years. Records fell on this track, and you can walk the ground where it happened.
- Concorde, the airliner on show at the site
- Wellington Bomber, built here at Brooklands
- Napier-Railton, the famous racing car, parked among vintage cars and motorbikes
- London Bus Museum, more ex-London Transport buses than any other collection
The ticket covers the main museum, buses included. Going inside Concorde is a separate extra that the ticket leaves out, though the aircraft is on view. It is a self-guided visit, well suited to anyone who loves cars, planes or buses.
