Description
A live comedy show in London is waiting at the Big Belly club, which sits in South Bank, close to London Bridge and Borough Market. You head in, take a seat and settle in for roughly two hours of stand-up.
Each show has a line-up of four to six acts, mixing styles and material, so there is humour for most tastes. Some are new voices trying out fresh jokes, others bring routines that have been tested many times. The club is also visited now and then by celebrity comics who drop in unannounced.
- Entry to the comedy show is included
- Drinks are bought at the bar, and are not part of the ticket
It is a good first taste of British humour for visitors, and an easy way to spend an evening out. When the show ends, the surrounding area is worth a walk: South Bank is one of the city's cultural hubs, and you are already there. The show is for adults only, as children under 18 are not admitted.
