Description
Most Jack the Ripper walking tours talk about the killer. This one, in Whitechapel, starts from the women he murdered: who they were, how they lived and how they died. The killer's identity is still unsolved after more than a century, and the tour takes up that question too.
An expert Ripperologist leads you back to 1888 through the streets of the East End. You stop at real crime scenes and play the detective along with the rest of the group, gathering clues with the interactive detective pack that comes with the tour. The guide explains the harsh conditions of the district that allowed the murders to happen.
- Real crime scenes in historic Whitechapel
- Theories about who the Ripper was
- An interactive detective pack to analyse the evidence
The walk lasts around two hours or a little more. Food, drink and hotel pick-up are not included, and the tour is not suitable for wheelchair users.
