Description
On this Harry Potter studio tour from King's Cross, one day gets you behind the scenes of the film series. Admission and a return trip by branded coach are included. The studios stand outside London, so count on about 1.5 hours each way; with the visit itself, which lasts 4 hours, the full outing takes some 7.5 to 8 hours.
At Platform 9¾ you can enter the original Hogwarts Express engine, board a carriage and pose with the luggage trolley vanishing into the wall. Diagon Alley comes next with Gringotts, Ollivanders and Mr Mulpepper's Apothecary. The costumes run from Quidditch kits to Yule Ball gowns and the grown-up outfits of the Deathly Hallows Part 2 epilogue.
- Great Hall and Dumbledore's office, both spots for a family photo
- Animatronic Buckbeak, and the 60 goblin heads of Gringotts
- Aragog the Acromantula, whose legs stretch more than 18 feet
Pick the start time by when you want to board in London. No escort comes along. A few zones use loud bangs and flashing lights, and a digital guide can be hired on site.
